An extensive collection of Chinese Export Porcelain from the 19th Century. This exhibit of Canton Famille Rose Porcelains from the Alma Cleveland Porter collection in the Peabody Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, published in 1982 represents over 35 years of collecting. The collection is representative of the export porcelain and direct trade that influenced esthetics and tastes at the table over tea and coffee and fine art collecting.
