Description
This work traces the history of Raku from its introduction to the West by Bernard Leach in the 1920s to the present day. The book discusses various Raku techniques, but its main thrust is as an exploration of the work and motivation of a number of international potters who use the medium today. These range from the monumental work of David Roberts to the sculptural work of Paul Soldner and the animated figures of Michael Flynn.
